Selective Nerve Root Block
This is a diagnostic procedure used to test whether a specific spinal nerve is the cause of pain, and ultimately diagnose a possible radiculopathy. This procedure takes about 15-30 minutes and involves using X-ray guided fluoroscopy to identify the location of a specific nerve root and inject a needle to the target region in order to deliver an anti-inflammatory steroid medication.
